Roxanna got up the following morning and headed downstairs. One child was already off to school, and the other was already being taken care of. She sat down at the table with her husband. She accepted her cup of coffee gratefully and sipped it quietly. She could tell that Kieran was upset about something. It wasn’t like him to be so silent, especially with her staring across the table from him. She arched a brow in his direction, confused by this change in his behavior.
“Keiran, honey is something wrong?” She asked. Keiran set down his own cup of coffee and let out a deep sigh and glanced in her direction. “There is a problem, and I am upset.” He said. Roxanna looked towards him and waited for him to continue with what he was saying. “Don’t keep me in suspense, what’s troubling you?”
