Laura insisted on paying for the gift they got Mrs. Hugh and the two head on to the house after purchasing it
Laura followed behind him as they made their way inside but she became nervous when she saw the number of people invited to the party and gets cold feet.
The both of them walk hand in hand and after exchanging pleasantries with some relatives who keep giving her weird looks and they finally made their way to Mrs. Hugh.
“Good evening aunt, good evening uncle” Laura greeted trying to be as cheerful as possible.
Chris's dad nod his head gently to acknowledge her greetings but his mom scoffed instead and turn to face another guest who just entered, Laura just smiled pretending not to notice her hostile attitude and step back a little
