Luca’s POV I kept my composure as Marcus pressed the gun to my temple. I refused to flinch knowing he was bluffing and only trying to see me react. I then turned slowly and let my eyes meet his, holding them there. I wanted him to know I wasn’t afraid and that intimidation wouldn’t work on me. And then he burst into laughter, pulling his gun away. “I like this guy. You're bold.” Marcus said to the men around, stepping back. “I'm just messing around.” He added, waving one of his men over. “Bring us some drinks, would you?” Moments later, one of the men brought a bottle of scotch and Marcus poured a glass for me.
