Elena's POV
I pulled Luca gently, and we stepped away from my father, leaving him behind close to the fountain where we were.
The corridor stretched out ahead. As we walked, I noticed some of the old staff waving at me. It was so good to see most of their faces again after so many years.
“Elena! It’s so nice to see you. Welcome back.” One of them called and I waved back, smiling.
“They’re really friendly with you.” Luca said calmly.
“Yeah.” I responded. “They all practically raised me. It’s good to see that most of them are still around, working for Papa.”
“It’s been years.” I added thoughtfully. “I've definitely missed this.”
