Tangled Hearts

CHAPTER 5

Ann was invited by Mr Charles. He is an artist and a five star hotel owner. Mr Charles is Ann's childhood friend,and the man she accidentally almost hit when she was on her way to the 'marry me' party. Although Ann didn't recognize him at first, when she got to the noodle shop to meet Charles, he was happy to see her. He told Ann who he was and Ann recalled.

Charles told her he repaired the car already and she shouldn't bother to pay, Ann insisted, Charles told her if she wants to, she can just fulfill the promise she made to him a long time ago. Ann had promised to teach Mr Charles how to paint. Charles asked Ann to be his art teacher and Ann accepted.

Ann went to Visit Liam at his company, she walked to the receptionist, they asked her if she got an appointment, she told the receptionist no. The receptionist said she isn't permitted to see Liam without an appointment..the other receptionist recognized her and whispered to the receptionist attending to Ann. They recognized her as Liam's girlfriend and allowed her to go in to see him.

Ann waited for Liam to finish with the meeting, she was asked to go in.

"Liam Hemsworth" she said as she walked in. Liam gazed at her and continued with his laptop work. "I remembered at the after-party, we said we would get what we wanted. But what are you doing now?" She asked as she smiled at him.

"I've got what I want with my ability. But you haven't, it only means you aren't capable." Liam cuts in as he continues typing at his laptop. Ann chuckled as she flipped her hair to the back with her hand slightly .

"But actually, at the after -party, Alex promised to sell me one wedding dress, but because of you, he…"

She was still talking when Liam cuts In

"Marry me dresses, will be sold in my mall in three months. You can buy one at that time." He said without looking at her and continued with work.

"No way," Liam stared at her sharply, "I'm in urgent need of one, so I need it now" She said as she looked at him and smiled in a tempting way. Liam stood up, she went to the side of his office to fetch water to drink .

"Why is the wedding dress so important to you ? He asked her.

"It's none of your business, is it? Ann said as she looked away. He walks up to her

"What? Rush to get married? He asked, Ann took a deep breath.

"Wait" he continues "didn't you just break up?

"How did you know that? Ann asked him as she looked surprised.he walks back to the couch in his office,

"These three months are our promotion period. Throughout the world, you can buy a marry me dress in nowhere, but GENESIS Mall, Unless.." he paused

Ann walks up to him, "unless what ? She asked eager to know .

"Unless I suddenly get married. I'll consider preparing one dress for my wife". He said without looking at her and keeping a straight face. " But even if I get married, I won't marry you" he said as he looked at Ann .

Ann looked at him, her two hands on her waist as she bit her lips in frustration ,

"Liam Hemsworth, you've severely disturbed my life." She said angrily

"Its means your life is too fragile " Liam responded as he looked away .

"My life is fragile because of a selfish egomaniac like you" she raised her voice In an angry tone, "you have no idea how greatly you're troubling and hurting me. I'll try to handle the dress problem, but you must explain to the media about the misunderstanding, prove that we're in no relationship, and delete the photos."

Liam paused for a while. "How can I explain? He asked as he stared at her. "Tell them that you and I cheated Alex? What about my losses? Will you pay for them?. Ann flips her hair as she looks away, "it's the price you have to pay for your unauthorized action that night" Liam told her.

Ann took a deep breath in frustration, "Liam Hemsworth, you're an arrogant and ruthless demon without any empathy" she raised her voice angrily. Liam looked away.

"Miss Madison, after you vent your anger, you can leave .

Ann wasn't happy, she felt speechless, as she turned to leave, "wait" Liam called as he stood up and went to her , he brought out his phone and took a selfie picture of them. "Liam Hemsworth!" Ann shouted in shock.

"The photo should have been taken like this. He said as he stared at her , "it can be nearly a perfect photo.

Ann bent to pick up the cup at the desk, Liam held her hand, and they both stare at each other. "What do you want to do?" Liam asked her. "What do I want to do? I want to have some water ". Liam leaves her hand and she drinks the water.

Liam clears this throat ,"but I just drank that ". Ann held her mouth, as she turned her back to leave in a hurry, she stepped on her shoe lace and was about to fall down when Liam held her and they spin-and-twirl-and-fall on the couch. Liam leaned close to her and continued to gaze into her eyes .

Ann was scared, "Liam Hemsworth, what do you want, you rogue!? She asked as she held her mouth. Liam looked at her "I'm a rogue?" She nodded. "Don't you remember what you did last night ?."

"What did I do last night?" She asked in a raised voice .

Joe opened the door, Liam asked him to walk Ann out .Ann stood up ,she drop a note on the couch,

"It's the bill of my broken limo because you overtook my car, pay for it." She said without turning to look at him .

"Are you crazy about Money?"

Ann scoffed,she turned to look at him, " you think everyone else is like you, who only cares about Money? Liam stood up, he adjusted his jacket. "Unless you have a good reason, don't come to cheat me out of money again," he said as he walked away. "You! Let's wait and see" she said as she left angrily.

She went to Alex company, she saw him coming and stood up

"Mr Alex" she called him, Alex looked up and saw her. "Could you do me a favor?" She asked.
