Chapter 17: Blake's abilities

Leo's POV

I follow Isla down to the cells. I can feel Isla's anger through our mate bond. "why are you angry?" I ask her. She looks at me for a moment but continues walking "why did it take you being kidn*pped for you to accept me?" she asks I sigh "I have always wanted to accept you" I say not understanding why she is asking this as she is the one that did not want to talk to me. "so why wait 5 months Leo?" she ask angrily. What is this girl talking about I have been trying to contact her ever since my alpha ceremony. But every time I would call she would decline my call. And all my messages I sent her would go unanswered until one day I got a message from her telling me to stop contacting her as she is moving on with her life "what are you talking about Isla. You are the one that was ignoring me for months and then sending me a message saying that you are moving on with your life and that I have to stop contacting you" she abruptly stops and turns to me "hand me your phone" she says holding out her hand. I take my phone out of my pocket and hand it to her she proceeds to to go through my phone "mother f**ker! That f**king B**ch!" she says as she storms towards the cells

Isla' POV

I am looking through Leo's phone when I come across the messages he he was talking about, but I couldn't understand why I did not receive all of these messages "look at the number" nevaeh suggests. I go into the contact information and I see that the number is completely different from the one that I gave him when we met "mother f**ker! That f**king B**ch!" I say as I storm towards the cells with everyone running to catch up with me. As I enter the cells I make my way to lilliana's cell. As I stop in front of the cell I see her pacing mumbling to herself. She stops when she sees me." how long have you known that I am Leo's mate?" I ask her using my truth seeking ability she looks at me with disgust "he broke things off with me when he got back to California but did not tell me who it was, but the night of his alpha ceremony, I saw the way he was looking at you and everything just clicked" she says not understanding why she just told me all that "how did you do that?" she asks me " well you see Lilliana, i am a tribrid which comes with nifty little tricks such as having the ability to make anyone tell me the truth" I say to her looking at everyone behind me. She followed my line of sight and realizes that we are not alone "Leo! Please help me! Please get me out of this cell" she pleads and I roll my eyes "did you change my number in Leo's phone?" I ask her. She doesn't take her eyes of Leo "yes" she says I nod my head "did you blackmail 3 warriors into helping you kidnap Leo?" I ask. She looks at me and I can see the pure hatred in her eyes because I am making her tell the truth "yes" she hisses through clentch teeth. I feel Leo stiffen next to me before he asks "why lilliana?" she looks at him "because Leo, I love you! You were supposed to be my mate not hers." she hisses "so what was your plan?" he asks and I can hear the pain in his voice "they were supposed to keep you safe until I managed to get to you so that I could mark you as my mate" she says looking at Leo with love. He stares at her for a few minutes before opens her cell and I see the triumphant smile on her face and I feel my heart break with every step that he takes toward her. He stops right in front of her and cups her face in his hands and I can't keep the tears from rolling down my face and it is getting harder and harder to keep nevaeh at bay with every second that goes by. I turn on my heel and run out of the cells as fast as I can before I loose complete control of nevaeh. I make it out of the cells just in time as nevaeh bursts forward and I shift mid run. She bolts towards the forest "i was so stupid in thinking that he loved me" I say to nevaeh as I give her complete control.

Leo's POV

I am standing there listening to ever word that lilliana is say and I just cannot understand how the sweet young girl I grew up with turned in turned into a complete psychopath. And it breaks my heart to think that I would have to punish her for what she has done. I walk into her cell and cup her face in my hands and look into her eyes to see if the girl that was my friend long before she was my girlfriend was still in there but I only saw a girl that is so in love with me that she will do anything to be with me. With soft and gentle voice I call her wolf forward "daisy?" I say and I see lilliana's eyes turn from blue to black as daisy comes forward "alpha, I am so sorry for all that lilliana has done. I tried to stop her but she just blocked me" I let go of her face and take a step back "what do you want me to do daisy?" I ask her because ultimately what happens to lilliana happens to her as well "she rejected my fated mate alpha and I am afraid that should we be gifted a second chance mate she would reject him as well" she says as the tears run down her cheeks "we can gift daisy with another human" Blake says

"what do you mean?" I ask him

"you remember what grandma said? I am a special wolf. I have abilities. One of which is gifting a wolf with a second chance" he says

"that's cool so how does it work? Does she get to choose the human or do we choose" I ask him

"either however the human must consent" he replies

"so who do we choose?" i ask him trying to think if we have any wolfless humans in the pack

"how about ava?" he suggests

"who is ava?" I ask confused

"callum's mate she is a demon so the transfer will make her a hybrid and then callum's wolf will also get a wolf mate " he replies

"OK we will talk to her about it" I say

"daisy, how would you like to have another human?" I ask her. I see her smile at the idea "yes please alpha but what about lilliana?" she asks "if you agree she will be sentenced to death after you have been gifted with a new human" I say to her and the happiness is evident on her face "I agree alpha, who will be my new human?" she asks excitedly I laugh and say " I will let you know I just need to speak to her so you just need to be patient for now. I will try to have transferred to your new human half by tomorrow night. Did lilliana hear our conversation? ." she nods "thank you alpha. No I blocked her out" she says I nod my head "OK keep it that way. You can give her back control once we left. I would advise that you block yourself from her once she has taken back control" I tell her. She bows her head and I walk back out of the cell and lock the door. I look at all the people standing there with shocked expressions but I don't see Isla "where's Isla?" I ask "she left when you went into the cell" my dad says "she was hurt by us holding lilliana's face" Blake says

"F**k!" I say out loud "can you find her?" I ask Blake. He snorts "always" he says as takes control of my body shifting mid run and he follows our mate's scent
