Chapter 15: message from Selene

Leo's POV

The first thing I see when I open my eyes is my grandmother's house. I frantically look around trying to figure out how I got here as the last thing I remember is the rouges attacking my pack. "how the f**k did I get here?" I mumble to myself. As I am looking around I hear my grandmother's voice from within the house "get in here pup! I don't have all day waiting on you" and I make my way toward the house confused as my grandmother died a few years ago. As I enter the house I see my grandmother sitting at her kitchen table with two cups in front of her. "am I dead?" I ask as I walk toward the table. She bursts out laughing at my question and I just look at her once she has calmed down she nods at the chair opposite her and slides one of the cups toward me but she doesn't answer the question. I sit down and take the cup in my hands "so? Am I?" I ask her again. She takes a long sip from her cup while watching me. After what feels like an eternity "no, but it doesn't mean that you won't be after your mate is finished with you" she says with a huge smile on her face "my mate? Why would my mate try and kill me? " I ask confused "because pup, she is the one that saved your ungrateful a*s" she says while laughing. I snort "if she saved me why am I still here?" she sighs "you are here because I have been sent to deliver a message to you but since you are my grandson and I have been watching what you have been doing for the last 5 months we are going to have ourselves a little chat before I send you back" she says as she gets up to pour herself another cup of coffee "a message? From who?" I ask she sits back down "we will get to that, but first, tell me why you treated your mate so appallingly?" she asks with a raised eyebrow that had me shrinking in my seat when I was little. "because she was pregnant with another man's baby" I say with a sigh. "did you ever think to speak with her about it?" she asks. Looking down at my cup I shake my head no. She snorts "men! Stubborn the lot of you" I look at her waiting for her to continue " all I am sayings is all that has happened could have been avoided by one simple conversation" I look at her confused "what do you mean?" I ask her "where is the fun in giving you all the answers" she says while laughing. And I can't help but laugh with her she finishes her cup of coffee and says "now for the message." I down my now cold cup of coffee while I wait for her to speak "all mate bonds is sacred but your mate bond is special. So is your wolf. You were gifted with Blake because he is the only wolf strong enough to survive being mated with nevaeh. You and Blake play an important role in what's to come but you must accept your mate with everything in you. That includes your mates newborn pup. You must convince your mate not to keep her pup from his father or she will never find her father" she says before I can say anything she walks towards me with her arms wide open and I stand to give her a hug. As we break away I ask "who is the message from?" she smile softly and says "Selene" she puts both of her hands on my face and pulls my face towards her "it's time for you to go back my sweet sweet boy" she says as she kisses my forehead and every goes black

When I open my eyes again I realize that I am in the hospital. I look around the room and I see my beautiful mate sitting on the couch fast asleep. As I am watching her i see movement on the couch next to her and I see a baby swalded in a blue blanket. I slowly get up from the bed and make my way to the couch. I pick up the baby and sit back down on the bed with him cradled in my arms. As I look at him I feel Blake rise to the surface of my mind to look at our mates pup. At that moment the pup opens his eyes and looks at me and I feel a bond snap in place "he is now our son as well" Blake says with a content purr as he is watching the pup in our arms. "his name is Alec" my mate says and I smile at Alec before looking at my mate still sitting on the couch with beautiful smile on her face. "we have a lot we need to talk about" she says as her smile disappears. I sigh "yes we do but first we need to talk about us" I say. She nods "what do you want to know?" she asks still sitting on the couch I look down at Alec in arms who has fallen back to sleep "who is his father?" I ask as I look back at her. "his name is Aaron, he is the marquis of hell" she says with a sigh. I look at her shocked "will you tell me?" she looks confused "tell you what?" she asks "how you got pregnant" I say and she bursts out laughing I look at her confused "did you seriously just ask our mate how she got pregnant" Blake asks as he is howling with laughter in my head and I realize how it must have sounded "I didn't mean it like that" I say shyly. Isla calms down "relax Leo, I know what you meant, I just needed a good laugh after the day I had" she says as she gets up from the couch and comes to sit on the bed opposite me "Aaron and I dated for 60 years. When we started dating, we both agreed that we will always wear protection as I only wanted to have children with my mate. But one day after we had s*x my wolf nevaeh told me that he did not wear protection. And we had a huge fight when I confronted him about it. He admitted that hasn't been using protection for some time because he changed his mind about having children. But he made that decision without me." she says while looking at Alec in my arms" I found out a was pregnant the day before we met. I of course considered all my options but after talk to nevaeh I realized that I would not be able to live with myself if I decided to terminate the pregnancy. And because of what I am and what he will be giving him away would not be a option" she continues still not looking at me. I stand from the bed and lay alec down on the bed making sure that he is safe. I pull Isla toward me and with my index finger I lift her head so she can look at me "you are my mate and I love you. I have loved you from the first moment I met you. And I am so sorry for not talking to you when we met and I am so sorry that you had to do it all alone." I say before I kiss her. I pull back when we both need to breath "will you accept me as your mate?" I ask her while looking deep into her eyes and she smiles with tears rolling down her face "yes" she breaths and I kiss her again. I pull her to the edge of the bed and stand between her legs. As I rub my hard d**k against her p***y. I slide my hand underneath her shirt towards her b**bs and I pull her b*a down and pinch her n****le between my thumb and index finger and she arches her back as she moans in my mouth. As I am about to take off her shirt we are interrupted by Alec who starts to cry. Isla lays her head on my chest and starts laughing "welcome to parenthood" she says as she pulls away from me to tend to Alec
