I covered the distance to where Marcus was kneeling and drove my foot into his chest before he could open his mouth.
He hit the wall of the courtyard and came down hard, coughing blood.
"You touched my person."
My voice was shaking with the effort of keeping it below a shout. "You have the nerve to lay hands on Elara with a silver weapon and think I wouldn't find out? Do you have any idea how much she means to me?"
Kai was screaming for blood and I was barely keeping the line.
I grabbed Marcus by the collar and hit him. And again. His face was already a ruin and I didn't stop. The Alpha pressure came out full and unrestrained — not tactical, not controlled, just unleashed — and Marcus's wolf folded under it completely, submitting against its will because there was nothing
