The elevator dinged open and Macy stepped out of it with Will right beside her. Gently, she ushered him into the hallway. He followed beside her obediently, lightly giggling as he walked.
The top floor of the hospital was where the VVIP ward was situated, and it clearly showed. The entire air and décor of the place was vastly different from the wards downstairs, the space designed to appeal to their wealthy guest and offer them the utmost comfort and luxury. It felt more like a five star hotel than a hospital, and Macy couldn’t hp but feel a little bit intimidated by their surroundings. It was clear as day that she didn’t belong here.
