The tires of Adrian's SUV screeched against the wet asphalt as he pushed the vehicle to its limits, his headlights cut frantically through the relentless rain. Deep within his chest, his wolf had been clawing at his ribs; it kept pacing with a violent restlessness that made his breath catch from time to time.
