Báine limped to the sitting room then flopped onto the cream carpet, her chest heaving. “I wish I could say never again”, she panted. Báine may have been a beginner but Laura didn't hold any punches, although they stretched mostly. Báine was as stiff as a board, and Laura would not stand for it.
