Báine was startled from sleep by the violent rocking. “What?” She blinked until the image loomed over her focused.
“You're up, good!” Kalis grinned at her friend. In a swift motion, the ginger hopped off the bed, her feet met the floor in a muted thud. “Hurry up”, she turned back to Báine, “we're going to be late!”
Báine watched Kalis run around then sat up, “That didn’t feel like a dream.” Báine ruffled her hair and looked to her window, the sun was pretty high. She narrowed her eyes and climbed down from her loft bed. Báine glanced took a look at her clock and froze. “Kalis we're already late!”
“A'm sae sorry!” the ginger wailed.
