Chapter 31 The Cells

---Shane's POV---

The wolfpack guards drag us down this long set of stairs to their dungeon area apparently. Once they drag us all the way down the hallway and past the closed cells, we come to the last one that's still open.

The overwhelming smell of blood is the first thing I notice. I wonder what they did to her.. that poor girl.. she was covered in blood and dirt but still clothed, so your guess is as good as mine.

"You see this you stupid dogs.. does this not ring a bell?!" The Alpha spats at my brother because he is the one that he seems to recognize from before. "Nope we never came down here.. so no." My brother pops the 'P' as he responds with so much attitude in his words, causing the Alpha to punch him in the face wirhout hesitation.

"Then tell me pup, if you never came down here then how and why are you on my property? Especially since you were defensive over her at the auction earlier tonight and she was taken right after my men and I got attacked trying to have a good time with my prize." He spats at him holding his face up by his hair at this point.

"I was getting ready to break in to get her out, but someone had beat us to the punch and just in time if you didn't get the chance to do anything to her." My brother says probably too confidently to him as he knees him in the chest this time. He is groaning out as the Alpha pulls his face up again to look at him again.

"I will find out where you sent my prize.. but she is mine! You will pay for completely interrupting what could have been the best time of my life inside of her." He spits in his face as he yells this, I think trying to piss off my brother.. but it's doesn't look like Quinton is phased by his actions.

"What? A rich Alpha like you couldn't even take a prize like her to your room? You had to try something down here? Don't you even know how to treat a woman?" He scoffs at him making fun of his predicament, but making the Alpha madder at his comment.

"If you must know because I am a good Alpha, I did take her up to my room first, but the little cunt wouldn't stop fighting me and even bit off some of my fingers... so I had to bring her down here to teach her a lesson but that didn't work either because she scratched the hell out of my head.. So if she wasn't willingly going to give me my money's worth, I was going to make her with the help of my friends.. but you guys quickly took them out without us even having a chance to fight back.. so tell me, last chance.. where did you take her?" He yells in Quinton's face making him smile big.

"She is stronger than you will ever know and you won't win this with her.. like I told you already I don't have her and I didn't get her out of here neither one of us did.. someone else beat us to the punch, literally.. even though we were here to get her out anyways." Quinton explains honestly again to him.. but he won't take that for an answer. The Alpha kicks him in the gut and sending him to the ground groaning.

He turns around with a satisfied grin on his face as I growl at him being like this with my brother. "What you don't like it when I kick him?" He asks as he kicks him again and I let out a bigger and louder warning growl, shaking the ground. He laughs out loud as he demands from his men.

"Grab the still unconscious men on the floor and chain these men up in here.. we will be back to question them and hopefully they will be smart enough to give us an answer.." He leaves the cell as the men chain us up to the walls and dragging out the men still unconscious on the floor.

Whoever that man was with Evelyn did this damage, knowing exactly what he was doing.. he must be a pro and worth the money he was paid.. I just wish I knew what Alpha it was.

"I wonder what Alpha paid to get her?" Evan asks myself and Quinton in mindlink since there are guards outside our cell for the moment still grabbing the men. I think about it for a second before shrugging my shoulders. "I would assume if anything maybe it was the Alpha that lost at the auction.. but other than that I don't know who would do this for her." I reply back pretty quickly still in our mind link.

We hear the guards dragging the men away from us leaving us alone down here for the moment. "So you came here to break Evelyn out?" We hear from a man with a very scratchy voice on the other side of the room in the darkest corner of this cell.. I can pinpoint where he is at by the sound of his voice but I can't really see him at all. His voice is slightly familure to me but it's hard to tell with how scratchy it is.. It sounds as if his throat is completely dried out.

Quinton is the one to answer him. "Yes I came here for her because I promised her I would! She is my chosen and all I want.. what is it to you?" he spats at the voice in the corner.

We can hear an all too familure laugh leave the corner as I feel my eyes welling up.. I know that laugh. "Of course MY SON, is the prince charming Evelyn spoke of.. being her only motivation to fight for.." He says as we both yell outloud, not controlling our emotions in this unexpected moment. "Dad!"

"My boys.. you don't know how bad I wish I could hug you both right now. I thought at first you were a dream since I got knocked out trying to help Evelyn..They were trying to hold her down and r**e her. I swear I yelled and fought to try to get to her son.. I'm happy to hear they didn't succeed.. but do you really not know where she is?" He asks us curiously as we all shake our heads but Quinton is the one to answer. "Thank you dad for trying to fight for her.. but someone beat us to the punch.. he was escaping with her and set off the alarms that we got caught in and blamed for.. but I have no idea who has her now."

"She defended me when I needed it, taking hits for me and even told me she would take me with her to get me out and back to my family.. I told her that my family would adore her and to come with us to stay safe.. but she said no she had to get back to you Quinn.. but come to find out surprisingly you already really do adore her.. I love it when I'm right." He says to us as if reminiscing about their time together.

"She was yelling at the man about having to save her friend as he pulled her from the house.. so I bet she was talking about you.. but he said he is getting paid to take only her to the Alpha.. so even though she saw us and tried getting to us she couldn't because he wouldn't let her." I explain to our father as he groans out.

"Do you know what Alpha he is talking about? They just want to use her for her body and it's not right she is a good woman and needs a good life with a just as good man.." He declares for all of us to hear as we shake our heads.

"I'm assuming it's the Alpha who lost at the auction earlier tonight, bidding on her against that asshole up there." I say gesturing my head to the Alpha that just left. He nods as we all sit here for a moment thinking.

"Dad, I havr to ask.. did you mean it when you said that I was her only motivation to get through this?" Quinton asks him as he just scoffs at that answer.

"Son you were all she could talk about.. and all she wanted.. when I told her to stop fighting, because the beating would get worse.. she said she will never stop fighting because she has someone to live for.. she kept telling me you were coming for her but I told her that she shouldn't depend on that.. but she said you promised her and that you were the future she wants so she will do anything to get it.. She is a good one son and I'm glad you chose her especially after being rejected by both of her mates." He explains to Quinton and that makes me smile at her affections for Quinton.. My brother needs someone like that by his side.

"Well at least we know she feels as strong about you as you do her. I was starting to wonder if you were just a delusional love sick puppy." Evan declares to Quinton making him chuckle at that comment.

"What do you mean by both mates dad? She only told me about the first one.." He says to him as I hear our father groaning outloud. "She found her second chance mate at the auction and that guy said he didn't want her because he was happy with his life and wanted the bonus he would get for helping sell her.. so she rejected him right away."

I hear groaning from besides me as I see glistening from Quinton's eyes as he stares off.. probably thinking of her.

"Well not trying to change subjects or anything.. but in search of you father, I found my mate.. she was locked up in one of these places and I saved her from this torment.. she is actually probably on her way back to the pack house right now to tell mother.. I told her if anything went wrong to do that.. but we needed her help at the auction for Evelyn, since my mate has been there before.. and then we followed the car that had her here.. and you know the rest." I state to him making sure he knows about her too.

"That's amazing both my boys found mates that they have wanted and needed.. I bet they are both equally amazing.. I couldn't be happier for the both of you to finally have that after so long." He declares for us to here before adding. "Ok..... So how are we going to get out of this place to get back to our mates?" He asks us as we start to look around trying to figure out what we can do.. especially with the three of us being naked, it's not like we have much to help us out. This is going to be tough.
