My daughter's safety has always been my priority, and the worst thing that is happening right now is that I am completely helpless. The only option I have found worth trying is the part where Laurel and I have decided that our daughter needs to move out of town, and even at that, we are still not sure if it would end well for us who will stay behind.
The plan for her to escape the city may be a little better than any we have come up with so far, so we decide to talk to Matt in person today. I have asked him to come into town and stay here until then. Things have been moving pretty fast, and I think that's just because what's coming up is not what we all want.
Matt has always been there for me, and he doesn't mind leaving everything behind to spend a few days here
