I walked into the little apartment which me and My family live, it was a little bit OK for me but tight though but I got My own room so no problem,the house was a little quiet which was not common

since My adopted sister move in with us.

"How are you my cute pet " I asked petting her head even if we are same age because she loves it so I do that often it has become our daily routine since I could remember.

"where is mom and dad joel" I asked

"Mom is at the clinic while dad is still in school, he called earlier saying he will come back late that we shouldn't wait for him to come home " she replied

"OK no biggie, is there any food at home am starving "

"But sis" she hesitate

" Don't worry I got Something on My way when coming, here take it go make something let me go shower and come downstairs " I said

"OK sis thank you,i was wondering were that smell is coming from turns out it's for you " she said jokingly

I laughed

I walk upstairs to My mini room which was close to me sisters, I just love the way mom and dad decorated the room it like mini heaven for me with the sitting area,reading table, bathroom and everything it's so perfect and me like.

I trow myself on the bed checking My messages From snap and all, then I noticed a strange message on My phone but I brush it off thinking it was one of my fan or crush From Webio or t****k.

I do have fan and crush but am single as f**k because My mom said till am 18, it was like a few weeks to go and am so excited for my 18th birthday because I can now do whatever I want.

I took My bath and wore my pyjamas and walk toward the kitchen and Notice Joel struggling with the food.

"Joel do you need some help there " I asked

" No thanks sis " she replied

I know Joel loves dressing like a guy most time and it looks funny when she is wearing shorts and struggling with the cooker, if we were in a fantasy world or novel I would call her a gay or an omega because of how timid and Boyly she look but nahhh that's just fake and fictional.

"Done" she said setting the food on the table.

"Wow look tasty " I said

"yea" try it "niceee you are getting better at this " I said

my phone rang the minute I tried eating

" hold I will be right back "

"Hello is this Evelyn Mrs violet daughter"

"yes ma" I replied

"please come to vendor street your mom Is lying in a pool of blood and I was walking by so I decided to help and please hurry " she said

"What,no no no no not my mom God not My mom "I stumbled on the floor

Joel come running " Evelyn what happened I heard you screaming "

"it mom it mom Joel " I said crying

"let go I will drive" she said

"ok" I said still crying

we got to the address and saw the woman who called me trying to call an ambulance.

"what happened,what happened to my mom" I asked her

"I was walking home and I saw her here In a pool of blood I took her phone and called the ambulance and you dad too but the ambulance is not here like there is something keeping it away from this exact location "she said

Joel was already a crying mess holding moms body trying to wake here up but she was not responding to any of our cry's and call like she was no longer here and suddenly My phone rang again I answered thinking it was dad telling us not to panic that he is on his way.

"Hello" the person from the other end of the phone said

"please who is this and why are u with me dads phone " I asked trying to smooth My voice from crying .

"This is the ambulance we called to tell you that your dad is In the hospital and he is asking to see you and you sister one more time before he takes his last breath " He replied

I instantly collapse

"ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh"i shouted

"sis what's wrong " Joel asked

"it's dad he is in the hospital and he is asking of us"i replied

Joel instantly collapse on My arm

The lady stared at us with eyes full of pity.

"Let me drive you to the hospital "she said

"ok ma" I replied still crying

when we got to the hospital I found out that we were already late, dad was already dead and I was told to confirmed the body on entering the ward I saw my dad whom I could bearly recognise his body was full of blood and stab mark in the exact location where mom was also Stabed then I figured that My parent was murdered and it was nothing ordinary,from then on I swear that I will hunt Down the person who killed my parent even if it means dying in the process.
