As I returned to the university campus with Maya and Julia, the long corridor was lit by dim lamps that cast shadows of the tall trees surrounding the building. The sky leaned toward a dark blue, streaked with silver threads of the first stars. The air was slightly cold, carrying the scent of damp grass, which made me feel a bit of calm after a long day.
