As soon as we reached the classrooms, we split up as usual. Julia and I headed toward our class, while Maya left with Jack toward theirs. The hallway was crowded with students, and the low murmur of conversations filled the place, but I felt as if everything around me had grown slightly distant. I was still thinking about the strange dream I had, and my conversation with Kevin.
