The next day I take some time to think over what he was saying and he seemed genuine. He didn’t lie he just didn’t tell me the whole truth right out but I kinda get it he did just drop a bomb on me and my whole world changed overnight. I mean I found out vampires exist and then he left the crazy vampire chick kidnapped and torchered me, so I think he had his reasons. But he still should have told me. I think I will let him sweat it out for a day before I let him stay with me again.

A few hours later I here a knock on the door. Then it opens and it is Ash of course this girl just walks in “hay girl what’s up?!”

“Girl you walking up in here like you live here” I laugh “ and I’m just relaxing today today. I was just about to order food it’s funny how you have an innate ability to come around when I am getting food.”

She gives me a grin “I don’t know what you are referring to but I can always eat. So what we getting?”

“Pizza so what should we get?” We decide on what to get and I order it on my app from domino’s and while we wait we start to chat.

“So where is Carlo today I thought the two of you were attached at the hip from yesterday? And how was last night me and Jackson heard moaning and decided to go?” She laughed

“ oh my gosh I didn’t think about you hearing it.” I get red with embarrassment “ we are fine he had some things to do today and left. What did you and Jackson do last night since you two left together? Huh?”

Now it’s her turn to be embarrassed “ we just went for a drive and then stopped by a burger place and he brought me dinner and we just talked all night it was really nice” she says as I take a drink of water “You know for as big as he is you would think that he would eat more that he does he only ate like a quarter of his burger and some of his fries” I choke on my water because I can’t believe he ate for her and I know the reason he didn’t eat. “ Ariel are you okay?”

“ yeah sorry it just went down the wrong hole” I croak out. Once I get my bearings back “ so did you kiss or anything or just talk?”

“Girl you know I kissed him and he is an amazing kisser. I swear to god if we weren’t outside in the cold I would have done him right there.” We laughed at that.

Our pizza arrives and I paid for it and set it down on the table we got 2 large pepperoni, ham, and bacon pizza and if you’ve never tried it you should because it’s amazing. Anyway we also got the bookie and cinnamon twists and the bread bites and it is so good the smell fills the house.

We sit at the table and munch while we talk about the guys. “So what are you doing for Christmas this year Ash?”

“Nothing I was kinda hoping you would invite me over here.”

“ of course you are always welcome and I already got your presents and a few for Carlo and Jackson too”

“Oh I should probably get them something too then. Guess you know what that means?” She quotes white chicks

We say at the same time “shopping!”

“Okay but can we go tomorrow? because I’m so full I feel like I am going to go to sleep” I say but I really want to text Carlo and see if he can get a body guard ready to watch us while we shop so we are safe.

We chat for a little longer then she heads out and I am by myself again so I text Carlo

Me:‘Hay can you get a guard that is not you or Jackson to go shopping with me and Ash tomorrow’

Carlo: ‘Yes when and where?’

Carlo: ‘ also I’m glad you are talking to me again’

Me: ‘tomorrow morning probably around 10am and me too I actually miss you’

Then there was a knock on my door I look through the peep hole and it is him. I open the door and he says “ sorry baby, but I aim to please and you said you missed me”

“I did but I was not expecting you to show up on my front door” I joke. “You know your not entirely forgiven right” I say as I pull him into a hug, place my head on his chest and breathe in his scent. I don’t know why but he just smells like home.

“I know mija and I plan on being open and honest with you anything you want to know feel free to ask and I will never keep anything from you ever again”

“Sounds good to me. Now can we get out of the door because it’s cold as a witches tit out here.”that gets a chuckle out of him and definitely lightens the mood.

“ you do know that witches are warm though right? They are human with powers.”

“ wait they are real?”

“Yes don’t you remember when I first told you about myself that I said witches and werewolves are real”

“I guess I was paying more attention to the fact that I was with an actual vampire king and my world went crazy”

“ I can definitely tell you more about it if you’d like” he says as he lifts me up and carry’s me into the house closing the door behind us. He sits down on the sofa with me on his lap “so do you have any questions I would be happy to answer them”

“Just tell me about them and what it’s like”

“Okay so the witches and werewolves have a king and queen along with a council similar to what I have created but instead of me the king having final say their council has the final say. So the witches are for the most part most human like the bleed, die, and age the same as humans. For them their power depends on practice kinda like building muscles. Now the werewolves are different because they have Alfa’s and each Alfa is a member of the council so it gets tense when they meet. Anyway the king of the Alfa’s is the Alfa with the biggest pack. Werewolves change for their first time on the full moon when they are 16 and they can find their mate when they turn 18 but for some their mate is in a different pack so they don’t meet for years. Anyway after their first change they can do it at will. That’s the basics of them you’ll meet them one day.”

“Okay now how about you tell me about my I don’t know how many great grandma? Ish this is way weird though”

“Agreed. Her and you are so different but the same at the same time. she was a go with the flow and she was timid and never went against the grain.”

“ okay thank you for being open and honest with me if I think of anything else I will ask okay” I scant think of anything else I want to know right now so we ju cuddle up on the Sofa and watch Christmas movies.
