Chapter Four
Tom was exhausted and drained of energy. Lack of food and drink had taken its toll but because the pain in his hand was constantly throbbing it was hard to get to sleep but the fatigue of the situation finally ended in him getting some much-needed shuteye. However, he was rudely and horrifically awoken as a large Spider crawled into his open snore filled mouth. He woke up quickly, spat out the Spider and then stamped on it. “Argh”... ‘I feel sick. I must have been here for nearly a week now, someone must be missing me. What am I thinking? Even if they did miss me no-one would know where I am anyway.
