Chapter Twenty-Three The sergeant drops Dave off at the boutique and follows him into the shop as he turns off the alarm and comments “Thank you, Sir. If you can just make a list of what’s missing for us, someone from CID will be along later with forensics to look for prints.” Dave looks at the mess in the window with a brick lying in it along with a half shattered mannequin on the floor of the window and turns to the sergeant and says, “OK.
