"What do you want to discuss about James?", I asked, concerned.
"Tiffany, uhh, I like you, and I want to be with you. Would you like to date me?"
I became sad because I didn't want James to be heartbroken. I had planned to date James if he proposed to me, but the tides had changed. I don't think I can be with him when I am in love with Larry.
"James, I don't think it's possible", I said, guilty.
"Why? I thought we both felt the same"
"Yes, but that's past and I like somebody else"
I nodded my head when he said it was Larry I liked.
"It was my fault, I should have made a move before you fell for his tricks"
"I didn't fall for his tricks, I"
"Oh because of his money? I knew you still liked me, but you were blinded by his money thinking it was love", he said, cutting me off.
