"How dare you? Larry, who is she?", she glared at me, angrily. I held my face in dismay, my eyes teary.
"Mom, you have no right to hit her", Mr. Larry said, furious.
"I have every right, who is she?"
"Larry's nanny"
"What! How can you call yourself his nanny, and give him poison? Larry, fire her. I don't want a murderer as my grandson's nanny"
"Mom, you are going too far, it wasn't Tiffany's fault"
"Excuse me, are you defending her? Larry, this is unlike you. You are supposed to be by my side not defending her".
She faced me, "Oh you have bewitched my son because of his money"
I couldn't say anything. I knew it was my fault, but her words hurt.
The doctor came to inform us that little Larry was okay. We rushed to his room.
