Jax's POV
Rose sat at the far end of the room tapping her shoes while glancing over at my side. The noise was getting on my nerves and I kept my cool.
The machine beeped and I watched Nova heaved in air form her oxygen mask. Rose stood up from her seat, heading for the door and stopped. "Not gonna see me out."
"Good bye." That came out wrong because she was hurling at me like a maniac, only stopping when my face flashed to her side.
"For f**k sakes. Act like you love me for once."
I smirked. "I do love you. It's fun watching you react. I can't get her to do that."
Her face softened. "Hold on one sec. You're pushing me off the tip because of her." Her index finger pointed at Nova's sleeping and I covered it with my hand.
