Nova’s POV
I shifted, taking my body off Jordan's hard chest. My heart pounded wildly as I tried not to break out. I was failing. Cold sweat poured down my skin into my shirt making it stick.
Jordan got the first aid box and cleaned my hands, then wrapped my hands. They burned and I winched at the pain.
“Stay still. It'll heal,” Jordan said as he fixed the last part of the bandage. “In a few hours or less.”
“I don't have a wolf,” I said.
