Nova's POV
Jax's eyes rolled back until the whites showed, and his body collapsed. I was slow, not catching him until he was out. Blood trickled down the corner of his mouth, mixing with the dirt and glass shards underneath his body.
His head lolled to the side, and my stomach dropped.
“Jax!” I screamed, lunging forward and my hand gripped his ripped shirt, shaking him as hard as I could, my voice breaking. “Wake up! Jax! Do you hear me?! Open your damn eyes right now! Don't you dare do this to me! Jax!”
Jordan fell on his knees, barely noticing the broken door his other men walked through. He didn't even look at me, held Jax's arm and carried him into his arms.
