Nova's POV
Every second the doctor looked at me like I was some alien. I lost it. My blood boiled and I wanted to rip him to shreds.
“Why don't you believe me?” I ragged. Jordan saw the haste in my voice and he looked over at the doctor. The silence from him was enough because the doctor moved. He walked over to Jax's side and pressed two fingers to his worst then checked the monitor again.
My heart wouldn't stay put. Every breath in me was aching for an answer. Desperately. The doctor's face remained blank, expressionless and then he pulled away.
“You felt it, didn't you?” I was practically begging. “His….his fingers moved. I mean it.”
The doctor looked over at Jax, shook his head and cleared his throat. “He's unresponsive.”
