Melite doesn't speak much, while we walk through the hallways of the Palace. I think she knows the purpose of this unannounced visit to my grandparents. I just hope, they'll be able to help me.
»Oh, look at our girl!« my grandmother says, when she spots me, her face lightening up in a smile. I can't help but let my mouth pull up too, as I run into her opened arms.
»I've missed you so much,« I mumble into her shoulder, then pull away to give a hug to my grandfather as well. »And you as well,« I tell him. I finally feel at home, now that I'm next to them.
»We've missed you too, our darling girl,« he says, patting my cheek lovingly. I sit down next to him, while Melite rushes off. Probably to get some tea for me as well. I take a deep breath, preparing myself to drop the bomb.
