ESTELLE’S POV
I woke up, straining my eyes as my vision adjusted to my surroundings. I was in a room that wasn’t mine, lying on a bed that wasn’t mine either. It took me a moment to recognize it as Adonis’s room.
My brows knitted. How did I get here?
It didn’t matter now; what mattered most was leaving here in one piece.
Placing my hands to the side, I tried to get myself off the bed, but a splitting headache surged through my skull. It felt like a drumming band resided in there as I rubbed my temples to somehow ease the pain
I tried again, but this time, the blanket I didn't notice was draped over me and slid down, exposing my naked body.
“What the..”
“I see you’re awake,” a deep voice said behind me, and I immediately let out a scream.
