Valerie got really emotional seeing Joe, the Light Gang, and other humans standing up and defending the werewolves against the vampires.
She finally confirmed in her heart, this was surely her mission, to reunite the divided world seeing how the strongest force in the human world stood up for her, and not just her, all werewolves at large.
Valerie was in a lot of pains earlier, but on seeing Joe and the humans fighting for them, she immediately felt an inner strength build up from inside. She stood admiring Joe as he confronted and threatened the hell out of Dawn and Lord Zane without fear.
