"What is wrong with you? You look confused and surprised."
Veronica asked Gabriel who just finished meeting the sister with confusion written on his face.
"I'm fine, I'm just scared I might get caught."
Gabriel whispered those words into Veronica's ears.
Veronica assured him, he will do just fine. Though she knew, sister Maria was the closest to father Peter making her a very strong lady and sister, but the sister doesn't have ability to read people like father Peter.
When they were finally done with orphanage, they left and were back at the studio.
"Thank you, for everything. With you, sometimes I forget I'm a vampire." Gabriel said to Veronica with his one-sided smile.
"Thank you too, for not killing me when you had all the opportunities to. Don't worry we are in this together."
