She walked towards the washroom. Sahil kept staring at her juggling hips. "They must be having the power of five thousand horse power engine. Jax Slayher would love to ride her." Mansoor called, "Sahil." Sahil came to him. Abhinav stood nearby. "Sahil, he is Mr. Abhinav Kumar, an old customer of ours." Sahil extended his hand towards Abhinav. "Nice to meet you, sir." Abhinav nodded. "Can we go on the drive?" Sahil asked, "Won't you discuss anything about the finance?" "We can discuss about it later, for now I am interested in seeing the car's performance and the interior." Mansoor nodded. "Sahil." "Yes sir." Sahil walked out of the showroom followed by Abhinav. He opened the door of the X700 test drive car. "Sir, please get in." Abhinav sat on the driver's seat. Sahil shut the door. He came to the other side of the car, opened the door and sat on the passenger seat and shut the door. "Okay sir, we are good to go. Press this button." "Before that, we should fastened our seat belts." "Yup." They fastened their seat belts. Abhinav pressed the button and started the car. He put the car in reverse gear, reversed, first gear and steered to the right and drove off. He said, "Nice, it has a good pick up." "It has six gears, you can try it on the highway." Abhinav speeded the car through the city lane. The navigation screen mounted on the dashboard displayed the real time location. Sahil said, "After getting down from the flyover, the highway will come up just two miles ahead." Abhinav drove the car to the flyover. Sahil yawned. "Are you feeling sleepy?" "Ah, probably." "You awake till late at night. Ah, you just be with someone, young blood. I can understand." "I usually sleep on time. Don't know why I am feeling sleepy today." Sahil tried to keep his eyes open but couldn't. Abhinav drove the car through the flyover. Sahil lay asleep on the seat. Abhinav smirked. He came to the highway and stopped at a roadside. He extended his hand under the dashboard and pulled a liver, unlatching the bonnet. He opened the door and stepped off the car. He took out his phone. He made a call. "Yeah, come to the highway, on the pre decided location." He hung up the call. Abhinav opened the bonnet. He glanced at the wrist watch, and then kept his hands on his hips, waiting. Ayaaz (in his early thirties) stopped his scooty at a distance away from the car. He got off the scooty, he picked up his toolbag and stepped towards the car. Abhinav asked, "Didn't you face any trouble getting here?" Ayaaz kept the bag on the ground. "I am saying it again, my name should not come forward. Once I get the money, I am on my way and you are on your way, as we decided." Abhinav nodded. "As we decided, now finish the work before he wakes up." Ayaaz took out a spanner from the toolbag and started working on the bonnet area. Sahil woke up. Arvind was not on the seat. No one was around. "Where did he go?" His phone rang. He took out his phone and attended the call. "Hello." Mansoor stood outside the showroom. He asked, "Sahil, where the hell are you? It's been two hours since you went with him for the test drive. Aren't you travelling through the whole city?" "Sir, the customer is not here." "What? So, where did he go?" "I don't know sir, when I opened my eyes he wasn't here." "What? Opened your eyes? Were you sleeping?" "Even I didn't know how did I fell asleep." "Anyway, bring the car back to the showroom." "Yes sir, I'll be there in ten minutes." He hung up the call. Sahil started the car and drove off. The navigation screen displayed the next U turn which was two miles away from the current location. "Two miles." He speeded up the car and shifted the gear to sixth. He applied brake when the U turn came closer. The brakes didn't work. He pressed the pad again but it was not working. He didn't turn the car and continued to move ahead, he slowed down the gear one by one narrowly passing by a couple of trucks while trying to slowing down. He drove the car to the extreme left. A tractor was parked on the roadside. He opened the door and jumped off the car. The car smashed into the trolley of the tractor. He stood up. He took out his phone and made the call to Mansoor. "Sir, there is a problem." Mansoor stood by Sahil. A toe truck was parked by the test drive car. The crew were preparing to take the car to the garage. Mansoor said, "The repair cost will be deducted from your salary." Sahil nodded. "You should concentrate more on your work rather than girls around you, Sahil. What were you thinking?" "Sir, I swear I didn't how did the brakes fail. When I woke up he wasn't there." "You must have spoken something to him that might had irked him." "I didn't." "Mr. Kumar is an old customer of ours, he won't walk away for no reason." Mansoor stopped his car near the showroom. He and Sahil stepped off the car. Mansoor stepped towards the showroom. Sahil's phone rang. He took out his phone and attended the call. "Hello." "How was the test drive?" "Excuse me, who is this?" The caller chuckled, "Didn't you remember?" Sahil paused for a while and realised it was Abhinav on the other end. He said, "You are the one, you knew I was going to sleep, you failed the brakes." Abhinav chuckled. "I didn't expect that you would remain alive." "Why do you want to kill me?" "Because a person like you doesn't deserve to live, you should rot in hell." "But what have I done?" "Think about it, you are alive, you have time." Abhinav hung up the call.
