Chapter-3

We meet Danish, the proud owner of the “B-Bar” and now Brad's friend and settle down at our usual table. B-Bar is the coolest place I have ever been to. It’s this beautiful, serene breakfast place by the morning and a crazy club by night. You wouldn’t recognize the place the way it changes totally in a matter of hours! This place is special to both Brad and me. We had our first ever kiss in one of the corners of the B-Bar. Danish and his boyfriend Chris own the place. They both are pretty amazing people. The four of us have become good friends. Chris and Dan pull me along for their shopping sprees quite frequently although I am yet to convince them to model for my fashion magazine. Both of them are shy! Can you believe it? Totally adorable they are! "What will you have, baby girl?" "I will have chocolate pancake and black coffee." He orders for himself a salad and some juice. Yeah, he is the healthier type. "I don’t ever understand how you like black coffee with the sweet tooth that you have," Brad says for the umpteenth time and I laugh. "Why don’t you try it yourself," I wink. "Yeah, I remember the time I did. It tastes like muck to me. You really are brave to drink that." He makes a face. We are chilling and laughing after ages. It feels amazing. Soon our breakfast arrives and we start eating. "Sarah, thank you for being so amazingly patient and accommodating with me. I know I have been acting like a jerk of late, being busy all the time, not being around when you need me." Brad says, looking genuinely concerned and sorry. "Hey, I understand. You work long hours because you have to and I know that you hate that we don’t get to spend as much time together. Soon your presentation will be over and life will get back to normal. I can manage without you till then." I smile and squeeze his hand. "You, my love, are a blessing truly." He gives me a quick peck on the lips. I want more, so much more, but I hold myself back. Chris comes to us when we are about to leave and then quickly runs away before I can say anything. Brad laughs loudly. I have been badgering Chris, trying to get him to model for my magazine. He is super shy but I am convinced if I plead enough he might just agree. Doesn’t seem to be working out so far! After we leave Brad drops me off to my office and goes back home to get ready for his busy day at work.
