I go to Sarah’s room to find her awake. Did she wake up early? I look at her carefully. She looks like she was awake the entire night as well. I wasn’t able to sleep the entire night too. Sarah spoke to me for the first time in days. He asked me about Rhea. I decide to talk to her. She looks at me surprised.
“Hey, after we spoke last night, I wasn’t .. umm.. I just want to tell you it was all me. I should have loved you the way you deserved to be loved, way before any of this happened. I was a shitty husband. I just wanted to tell you sorry for that... Sorry for things that I did before you know ... s**t hit the fan.”
She looks at me perplexed, to say the least.
“but you did love me... I was happy with you .. until..”
“No, you weren’t. I should have seen it... I was never there...”
