I have three questions chasing each other around in my head, back to back. One; why did Fauna kidnap Morpheus’ mother —the one witch we know of who can practice black magic and who might know something about my curse? Two; does Fauna know about my curse and my efforts to learn about it and lift it —if she does know, how? And finally; where are they right now?
The last question, I could guess quite easily —the others, not so much. The Lysidas mansion had turned into her evil fortress. I’m willing to bet everything I have that she took the witch there.
But what if it’s all a big trap to lure me there?
