Zayne and Irene left for Italy to help move Bohdi' mother to a safer location. The others did as planned.
One thing they all knew was that how cruel Surell Phromli can be. Moving Bohdi' mother was a safety measure. If Bohdi wouldn't go through the arranged marriage, his father would lose a lot, his face, his pride, even a lot of money. Consequently, he might do something awful to force Bohdi to do as he says.
"You didn't have to come with me," Irene told her brother on their way to her vacation home in Lake Garda. "Your men already did the job. Bohdi' mother is alright now."
Zayne groaned as he shot a glare to his sister. He didn't have to come but he wanted to make sure and see for himself that his best friend's mother was totally safe. It would create no problem later.
