Adere and Mori were bent on ensuring that they passed through because they had realised that there was a connection between where they were and where they intend to head to and so Adere kept letting the dwarf to know this, and having seen that the dwarf was not trying to stop them from passing, neither was he trying to harm them but was instead afraid of why Adere would choose to pass through their domain.
