The man could not think of anything else. He was sure and certain that the king of Abah having made it clear that he wanted to see what the young man was capable of he knew that the king was ready to have him share the same fate with his mother. He knew too without needing anyone to inform him that if he was to strike the king he and his mother were never going to leave the palace alive. He knew at once that he had behaved foolishly and now he needed a way to redeem himself and he knew that the only way to get that done was to have something doing, something that could make one able to have in mind what it was that he needed to do.
