The servants in the room moved in unison, with a smoothness of professional killers. They draw a long and a short blade and slowly started to move towards Lissa in circling movement. They had good senses because they didn’t rush her. “What are you waiting for bastards?” Yelled the Baron. “ Kill the w***e!” One of the assassins moved to his side and whispered to his ears. “ Sir, we better move you out of the mansion. We have a small chance against that thing.” “You are telling me this little girl make you piss your pants. Well then I will kill her” Spitted the lord and was about to draw his blade but the servant got hold of his hand. “What the hell do you think you are doing ? Yelled the baron. “Excuse me Sir for my insolence. You can punish me for this later, but my foremost objective is to ensure you safety and you can’t see what we can whit these artificial eyes. That thing in the middle of the room is a vortex of power. We need to go. Now! “ They almost got to the backdoor when a dagger so fast the other servants can’t even see it flow past them and got stuck in the door frame. “I did not say that you could leave, did I?” Asked Alissarh in a cold voice. “I am truly saddened that it come down to this, but I need answers and you leave me no choice. If you want to fight, then let’s fight. “ She waved her hand towards the dagger in the door frame and the stone in it’s handle started to shine with blue light. A bony ghost hand reached out and grabbed the door frame. Everybody watched it with a shocked face as the shade pulled itself out of the sapphire and dropped to the floor. It was three meters tall. The remnant of his armor covered it’s his mutilated body and he held a two meters long blade. The assassin lunged to the right and pulled the baron with him as the ghost blade tore in the floor where they stood a second ago. The other servants jumped at Alissarh. Two lunged at her from the sides and one from the front as the other three threw knifes at her. The lady deflected one of the projectiles with her left hand and as she brought it down in an arch, she cached the wrist of an attacker smashing him in the ground. A jewel shone on her bracer and a gigantic wolf materialized snapping the spine of the man laying on the ground. During this movement she pointed at the other attackers with her right and two other wolves jumped out making enemy retreat. The knifes were deflected by bear which was summoned right behind the lady. There was a pause in the room, a calm before the storm so to say, then for the next few minutes a deadly dance took place there. Alissarh didn’t waited for her attackers. She pulled out two daggers and charged. The two who retreated before was so focused on the wolves they only saw a shadow passing by before they fell to floor their throat slashed. The one assassin protecting his lord had a hard time too. He was used to short fights, a precise stab to the heart or eyes and its over. Now his opponent has no weak spots, just bone and steel coming down on him. His longer blade was already shattered. He looked at his lord and his nearest men and signaled them to help to distract the skeleton while the baron makes his escape. They turned their back to the other enemies even thought, they knew that’s a fatal mistake and attacked the legs of that giant. The skeleton was forced to move away from the door and the baron finally could reach the door. He grabbed the doorknob and tore up one wing and run out shutting it behind him. Even though they saved there lord only one assassin survived long enough to see him leave, but he was unable to move anymore. All he could do was watching half consciously as the wolves approached him. The last thing he saw in his life was a ghostly fang reaching for his face. Silence fell on the room again. Behind the door the baron could see the rest of his house guard. “What are you waiting for help me flee this hell! “ He screamed in panic, but not a soul moved on the corridor. They just stood there in eerie silence, he couldn’t even hear the small sounds of natural body movement and breathing. They all faced the wrong way too. He slowly walked to the nearest guard and grabbed his shoulder. The baron knew something was wring before he could see is face but couldn’t escape the shackles of those necrotic blue eyes staring bac to his horrified green ones. He just stood there petrified, then felt something warm flowing down his thighs. This is the end he thought, I am dying. Put there was no pain, so he dared to look down. “Damned what a shame I even wet myself. What would I do if someone saw me?” He murmured under his nose as he fell to his knees and started to laugh in a maniac voice and tearing his face with his nails. He wouldn’t be able to tell how long he did it but the next thing he knew the corridor was empty and dark. He was kneeling in the same spot where he fell, and the only light source was the fireplace in his office. He wanted to run away but as he tried to walk towards the darkness hundreds of cold blue eyes illuminated the corridor making him change his mind. He turned back and walked in the office. The she-devil was there. She was sitting in his office chair drinking from the whiskey he wanted to use for celebrating this evening. “Tell me what you want to know, and I’ll answer honestly, just spare my life.” He said in a tired, broken voice. The lady turned to him. Her eyes had no longer the spark, only tiredness and sorrow in them. “I want to know everything about the masked man and your dealings with him. I want to know why your wife had to die now, why couldn’t you do his earlier? Now talk.” She said in a soft voice.
