"Okay, let me get this straight: I'm getting suspended for defending myself from a boy who tried to assault me, and now, I'm getting punished for assault?" I crossed my arms.
Neon let out a sigh.
"The school board is totally on your side, Tara but his parents are trying to push it to court. The only way to curb the matter is to suspend you temporarily," he said.
"I can't go to court!" I exclaimed.
