"Why are you stalling, Axel? Answer my question," I demanded.
"Tara, can we not talk about this now? We need to focus on getting you back to school before Bennett shows up here. Kehlani might not be able to save you again," he said instead.

"The girl that hugged Bennett while he was strangling you?" He said with an eye roll as if the answer was very obvious.
