I returned after a long run to clear my head and headed upstairs. Kehlani was not in the room.
I immediately had a bad feeling about it. I checked the other rooms she could possibly be but she wasn't there.
"Kehlani?" I yelled, descending the stairs.
One of the guards walked to me.
"She said she was going for a stroll, Alpha," he informed me and it heightened my suspicion.
"How long ago was that?" I demanded.
"About twelve hours ago, Alpha," he answered.
