Six months passed so fast in a blink of an eye.
I didn’t keep track of the days on a calendar, but my body felt every single one. I was just counting down the time until I found her again.
My office hadn't changed much. Everything was practically the same, the same dark wood, same cold glass, same view of the city. The desk was still the same, where I had held her, touched her and whispered things I should have said months ago. Everything was the same, except me.
I had gone through three secretaries in six months. The first one quit after two weeks, saying I was impossible to work for, that I expected too much, I never smiled and was always cold… she was right though… not gonna lie. The second one I fired because she changed the temper
