That morning, the air was still cold despite the sun climbing high in the sky. In the kitchen, Olivia was arranging breakfast with a faint smile. From time to time, she glanced at the living room, where Eliana was sitting on the carpet, playing puzzles with Hunter. Once, a scene like that had only existed in her imagination.
