Olivia stepped into the most luxurious boutique in town, her hand tightly holding Elliana’s small fingers.
The boutique’s interior sparkled under grand crystal chandeliers, rows upon rows of exclusive designer clothes lining the walls. Olivia wanted to give her daughter the very best. After everything they had endured, Elliana deserved to see the beauty the world had to offer.
“Which one do you like, sweetheart?” Olivia asked softly.
Elliana nodded enthusiastically, her eyes lighting up as she gazed at the rows of pastel-colored dresses. Olivia smiled warmly, then excused herself for a moment. “Wait here, okay? Don’t go far.”
“Okay, Mommy,” Elliana replied sweetly.
