"I don't want you to follow me everywhere I go," Zoey playfully zested Splash.
"I do not want to miss even a single beat off alone time I could have with you," Splash said looking into her eyes.
"You are such a player,.." she said smiling at him," Tell me how many girlfriends you have had in the past?"
Splash suddenly looked uncomfortable, "ah... By the look in your eyes...I believe you had quite your share," she assumed.
"That was all before you I promise," he quickly defended. Zoey narrowed Her eyes at him, held him by his collar and pulled him close, "I'll kill you if you see any other woman again understand?" she whispered onto his lips. Splash looked amused by her threat, "I promise there is no one for me after you" he said.
Zoey looked satisfied and set him free but he snaked his arms around her waist and pulled her close smashing his lips on hers. Zoey smiled still with his lips on her, his arms settling on her hips. It took them a while but finally, both of them pulled apart.
So what else you do when I am not around?" Zoey asked as both of them settled on the grass near the old oak tree.
"I read whenever I get time from my pack duties." He said playing with her hair.
"What do you read ?" , She said getting comfortable in his arms.
"These days I am reading ancient history"
"History of ?"
"Werewolves"
"Oo.. anything interesting?" She asked casually.
"I am reading these group of witches who are also werewolves. They are called sorcerers. "
Zoey jerked immediately from his arms," really?"
"Really. There are such group of wolves in history."
Zoey gave a nervous chuckle, "you believe in such stuff?" She asked.
"It's convincing." He said.
"So where are these witches?"
"They aren't witches... they are sorcerers," Splash said.
Zoey smiled at him as she remembered how her sister would snap at everyone who called them witches.
Zoey knew her powers are surfacing, but she couldn't manipulate them as Mila could do. She is learning and she is doing a very good job that's what her sister told her.
"Hello? Where are you lost?" Splash asked Zoey.
"Nowhere.." she said giving him a quick peck.
"so are you ready for tonight?" he asked.
Zoey shrugged her shoulders, "I guess"
"Good. Now I get to get in your brain", he said chuckling.
"ahaan, let's see." She said smashing her lips on his.

"Breath in' Ella said as she was checking Dani on her pregnancy.
Dani did as she was told. Twisting her fingers nervously.
" Your pup is healthy. No need to worry dear", she said giving a kind smile to Dani.
Dani smiled back at her and ran her hand through her stomach.
"SO..what did I miss?" Josh asked coming inside.
While Ella smiled at him Dani looked confused.
"What are you doing here?" Dani asked.
"What do you mean? I came to check on the little nugget."
"Your Pup is perfectly fine Alpha. In fact, when Dani comes for the next checkup I could tell you the s*x too"
"Thank-you Ella." He said helping Dani from the bed.
"Alpha, when is Peter coming back?" Ella asked.
"He has already started from firewood. Is there anything important?" He asked.
"No..no.. it can wait."She said.
Josh and Dani quickly said their thanks to Ella and left.
Dani insisted on walking, So both of them fell in synchronized steps. "Thank you so much, Josh." She said taking his hands into hers.
"Dani... I might not be the father but You are my best friend. Of course, I'll care about you and your baby." He mind linked her.
They walked up until the pack house by then. "Thank-you, Josh" she mind-linked and said "I love you..." out loud.
Josh gave her a smile and kissed her on her head. "I love you too," he said in her mind because he already smelled that they were not alone.
"Come on you two lovebirds" Dani heard Peter. Her wolf was pacing and she was taking deep breaths as normally as possible.
Bright sunlight was streaming on her face so it took her few seconds to adjust but her sense of smell skyrocketed.. the musk scent felt so Familiar. And then her eyes met the most amazing pair of green ones. Just like the last time. There was no emotion in those green eyes. "MATE" Her wolf started to howl.
"Landis," Josh said as he greeted her mate. But his eyes were on her.
She stood there captivated under his gaze. Her mate, he was the man she was with that night. His green eyes, his muscular body. It was him.
"Landis, Meet Dani... Our Luna." Peter introduced her.
Dani gulped understanding how it looked. "How is my grandchild in there?" Peter asked lowering his voice. But everyone heard that.
Dani nervously glanced at Josh before her eyes landed back on her mate.
"Luna," her mate said bending his head a little as a stance of respect.
Dani bit her lips so that she doesn't speak anything. Peter was standing in front expecting an answer.
"Dad, I have something to discuss. Please come with me... First, let me just show the guest house to Landis." Josh quickly saved her.
"Landis, I...." Josh started.
"I could show the Alpha to the guest house," Dani said.
"Okay," Josh said relieved. "Landis just settle down... I'll come around in an hour or so."
Dani couldn't understand the emotion she was going through. She was Happy, her wolf was in cloud nine but the look her Mate was giving her was scaring the s**t out of her.
"Alpha.," she called but words didn't come when she saw the murderous look in his eyes, behind all that she could clearly see a pained expression.
"You.." Landis started but Dani quickly composed herself.
"Not here.Come." She said in a low voice so that his other pack members who came with him cannot hear.
She saw Ellie walking with Sara. "Ellie... Show our guests the guest mansion. I would show the Alpha around." She said. As she was known to be the Luna, Ellie bowed her head in respect.
"Alpha.."
"Leave. I'll come to find you guys later. If you need anything just mind link me." He ordered his pack members. There are group 15 men traveling with him.
Dani and Landis were in the same clearing where Mila and Dani were last week.
"You are a Luna," he said in a very calm voice.
"I am not," she said equally in a calm demeanor.
He raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"I have not yet been presented to pack."
"You are rejecting me?" He asked.
"What? Wait? No" she said.
"You are pregnant."
"I , am" she said placing a hand on her stomach.
"It's his?"
"What?! No" she shrieked.
"Some other lovers maybe?" He said.
Dani felt her face burn up with fury. "It's yours," she said.
"Mine?" He scoffed.
"Don't you remember that night?" She asked rather irritated.
"I do but how could I believe that it's mine. It doesn't even smell like me."
"I had someone mask it's scent still I find you." She said calmly.
Her wolf was trying to connect to his wolf.
"How?"
"What how?"
"The masking"
"I had a help of a witch who helped me."
"Why did you mask the scent? And why are you Luna of this pack.? Are you married to Josh?"
"I had to. No, I am not married to Josh. I was supposed to be luna of the pack. But then this happened" she said pointing to him and the baby bump.
"But you are not his mate? How could you be Bluedale's Luna?" He asked confused.
"It's between me and my pack... I would rather not talk about it." She said uncomfortably.
"So what do you want from me?"
"What do you mean what I want from you? Don't you want this baby?" She asked her eyes wide as headlights of a truck.
"I'm sorry if I don't trust you on this..." he said sarcastically. "But how do I know it's my baby? It doesn't even have my scent."
Dani huffed annoyed. She ran a hand through her hair. "What if I get the scent masking spell of me? Then that would prove."
Landis just shrugged in reply. He was going crazy inside. Why does she had to mark the scent? Was she not happy that she was carrying his baby? Does she love him?! Of course, she loves him, she said so.
"Well if that is all you have to say... please excuse me. I'm tired and I have to rest." He said turning around to go to the guest house. That was all he could do to control himself from pushing her onto the nearest tree and kiss the s**t out of her.

Mila placed her legs on the coffee table as she started to paint her nails.
"Mila... hurry up, it's almost time." Ella said rushing inside.
"Chill mom." She muttered under her breath.
"I need to tell you something," zoey said coming down the stairs, she was wearing a black jeans and a peach coloured bow peplum top. She fixed her hair in small clips to stop them falling on her face.
Whereas Mila was wearing a black colour high collared Maxi top and paired it with a dark blue skin fit jeans. Her dark blonde hair was left loose.
"Hey, Why am I more dressed up?" Mila complained.
Zoey chuckled, "Moms order. She secretly hopes you find some one to atleast date."
Mila made a face at Zoey. "What did you wanted to say before?"
Zoey looked at Mila nervously.
"What is it Zoe?"
"You are not going anywhere right?!"
"Why do you ask?" Mila asked looking at Zoey. When she saw her lower lip quivering.
"I am not going anywhere silly."
"Promise?"
"Promise." Mila said atleast for now she added quietly.
"What did you need to tell me again?!" Mila asked closing the lid of nail paint.
"Oh... yeah... Splash was reading a book about us."
"Us?" Mila asked confused.
"Sorcerers" zoey mind linked her sister.
Mila narrowed her eyes at Zoey before declaring she need to destroy that book.
"I know. Today is the best day. Everyone would be at the clearing. We could easily go and finish our work." Zoey said.
Mila nodded at her.
"Tonight."
