" I thought, you said we are keeping... sorry you are keeping it low here" Zoey accused Mila with a sly smile on her lips.
" I am," Mila said smirking and continued "I just couldn't bear to see him alive".
"I understand, I feel the same and I am glad you killed him," Zoey said.
" Enough of him already. I'm hungry. let's go" Mila said pulling her hoodie over her spaghetti top.
It was typical calm night in Jones mansion, Mila's parents have already retired to there room to do god knows what, it's just Mila, Zoey, Jessica. Hayden had a kind off night shift and was still in the hospital.
"how was your first day of school Zoey?" Jessica asked.
"I survived" Zoey replied.
Jessica and Mila chuckled at her answer.
"How was your day?" Zoey asked Jessica. Jessica blushed immediately thinking of her fruitful morning.
"It was good," she said.
"Tell me one thing... how was yours and Hayden's first date like?" Zoey asked.
"Oho... I see so... splash finally asked you on Date." Jessica said placing her spoon aside.
"No..nothing like that." Zoey quickly replied her cheeks red already.
Jessica chuckled before continuing her story while Mila Sat there eating her food quietly talking about your ex-boyfriend's current love tale is awkward though you have no feelings for him now.
"I remember he took me out for a movie followed by dinner," Jessica said with a smile on her lips.
"That is so like Hayden" Mila chuckled.
At the very movement, Hayden's car screeched through the driveway.
"I think Hayden is back," Jessica said looking towards the door. They could hear opening and closing of the car door and Hayden shuffling some papers In his hand.
He was surprised by three pairs of eyes on him as soon as he entered.
"Hello Sweetness," he said kissing Jessica briefly.
Mila and Zoey averted their eyes to give them privacy. "Hello Monkey" he greeted Zoey and he just smiled at Mila.
"You are a monkey," Zoey said annoyed.
"Babe you want to set a plate for you," Jessica asked.
"Yes.. please I'm starving," He said sitting beside Mila.
Mila gave him an eww look saying "go have a shower first."
Hayden pouted his lips and said, "But I'm hungry".
"I don't care. Go freshen up" she said sternly.
Hayden gave her a dry look, before going to his room to freshen up and he was back in 5 minutes just wearing a grey t-shirt and black shorts.
"Happy?" He asked Mila claiming the chair beside Mila once again.
"Very," she said in a bored tone and continued poking the broccoli in her plate.
"Babe... here, "Jessica said giving him his dinner.
"Thank you, love," he said before digging into his plate.
"How was your first day muffin?" He asked.
"Why is everyone asking the same!" Zoey exclaimed, banging her head to the table.
"Because we all care about you" Mila dramatically sighed before picking up her plate.
"Well I am going for a run Zoey and if you want to join me you are most welcome, but later do not whine that I didn't tell you," she said.
"I'm coming" Zoey shouted, "And you two... have fun while we are gone." She said winking at Jessica and Hayden.
"Just go already," he said shooing her away.
Jessica chuckled at the pair. "Are you both like this every time?" She asked amused.
"Like what?"
"Like... you know TOM and JERRY"
"Ha... I like to annoy her. She looks too cute."
"I agree. But the siblings are completely opposite."
"Huh?" He asked confused.
"I mean Zoey is a very Happy kid but Mila is you know.... a very guarded one, she looks lost every time."
Hayden was in deep thought he was currently the closest thing to Mila and he knew what's up with her. Coming to Bluedale researching for a cure is total bullshit. Ella, Mila's mother wanted her Daughter away from that place where the events of dreadful night haunted her. She thought bluedale would be a nice Change little did she know that her Daughter would find a mate who would reject her.

Josh's wolf was proud of the fact that his mate was the strongest she-wolves.
He was in his study going through some pack files, Splash was still lying on the couch reading about the ancient book of werewolf history which he found in the human library. For humans, that book is full of bullshit but for wolves, it is a script of their kind.
"Hey, see this" Splash suddenly exclaimed.
"What is it?" Josh asked to last to get up from his chair.
"Its written here that long ago when wolves were cursed for the very first time. There was one particular family of witches. It is written "The shifters who can also perform witchcraft or magic are called sorcerers. The group sorcerers were very secretive about their existence because they were used against their will and if they refused to help they were killed. The sorceress has magic running through their veins. They are said to be that around the whole population of shifters there is only one particular family which inherited the magic from generation to generation. The greatest sorcerer of all time Diana Kuch was the very last known sorcerer."
"A shifter and a witch impossible," Josh said with a scoff.
"All the theories and history of werewolves are legit till now. So, the goddess knows that this might be true." Splash said.
Josh just shrugged his shoulders "I have seen many witches in my life but never a shifter who is a witch."
"Won't that be cool 'A sorcerer'," Splash said getting excited.

'This feels so good." Zoey told Mila as the wind got against her fur.
Mila nodded her wolf head she couldn't agree more. She was feeling free.
"So... Splash asked you out on a date then?" Mila asked.
Zoey's wolf howled happily. "He did..I'm so happy"
Mila just smiled but didn't say anything.
"What is it? " Zoey asked seeing her sister didn't share her excitement.
"Nothing..... it's just that you didn't tell me before but were discussing with Jessica." Mila mind linked her sister.
"Mila... I didn't tell that because I thought we would speak in private and Jessica just caught upon it."
Both siblings stopped running and settled near the lake. "Mila... you are a big part of my life. Hell .. you are my life. No one is important than you." Zoey mind linked her once each of them came out from behind a tree dressed in some shorts and a tank top.
Mila gave Zoey a long look before she ran her hand over Zoey's. "After everything that happened... I promised myself that I would never let anyone hurt you."
"Mila.." Zoey cut her in the middle, "I love you... you have done so much for me. whatever happened in the past was never your fault."
Mila hugged her and Zoey knew just like how her sister was important to her... she was important to Mila.
A sharp rustle of leaves brought the siblings apart. Mila immediately pushed Zoey behind her back. Her senses heightened. As she swiftly ran her gaze all over the place.
"Who is there?" She said in a stern voice.
Suddenly two black wolves made their way from behind of tree. One sniff and she knew it was her mate and his brother.
"Splash," Zoey called from behind Mila.
Mila from her peripheral vision knew that her mate was watching her but she knew better and admire his big black wolf through which she badly wanted to run her fingers.
Both brothers came out again dressed in shorts.
"What are you doing here?" Splash asked.
Mila rolled her eyes, while Zoey frowned at him.
"We came for a run," Zoey answered.
"It's late," Splash said, Now, he was frowning.
'What am I going to do with him?" Zoey mind linked Mila who in turn chuckled.
"Well then you could do me a favor by walking Zoey back to our place," Mila asked.
"Sure" Splash agreed almost immediately.
Zoey face lit up in a small smile," but you?" She asked.
"I have something to talk to the Alpha." She said nodding her head in Josh's direction.
Josh shifted closer to her as both Zoey and Splash walked out the sight.
"What do you wanna talk about?" He asked.
"Straight to the point" Mila sighed. She was actually enjoying the silence between them.
"I want to join the pack," she said after giving a lot of thought.
"Really?" His face visibly brightened.
She nodded her head in a yes. His happiness flew out of the window when he heard her next words " But it is gonna be temporary until My Mom finds a cure. My parents and sibling might stay here but I am not staying one second then more than I have to."
"But where will you go?" He asked.
"Somewhere I belong ." She said in a small voice. She heard him mumble you belong with me but she ignored it. She couldn't do this.
"Okay... I will look into it." He replied turning around.
"And one more thing, I want you to reject me.".
Josh growled slowly at her, reject her. No way.
He just gave her a look before dashing into woods.
Her wolf was whining inside. She took a deep breath and said to herself and to the wolf of hers that it is What that is needed to be done.
Her phone was buzzing in the pocket of her shorts. She frowned at the phone before sliding to answer.
"Hello"
"Mila?" Hayden's voice was swift and calm.
"Yes," she said picking up on his voice immediately.
"Mila I have the names. Ash just called. What is your next plan.?" He asked.
"As pre-planned. We will kill them all."
"Okay, meet me near the western border." He said cutting the call.
Mila stood there for a second as the wind blew her hair into her face she thought of how mercilessly she is going to kill her prey.
"I promise I'll kill them all" she promised.
