Josh could easily block everything around him, all that mattered for him was his mate in his arms and their tounges fighting for dominance. His mate tried to move away from him but eventually gave in. He was enjoying her touch and the effect he had on her. He released her lips from his binding to let her catch her breath.

He thought that this kiss would stop the tension between them but what happened was different...he was craving for more, he wanted to rest of her.... all of her.

All he could listen were her heavy breathing, her eyes turned little gold. They were beautiful. He leaned into her and whispered in her hair "You are mine".

Mila could feel the tingles which were following every small touch of her mate's finger. She was cherishing this moment when she heard him say You are mine. That's when something snapped in her.

That JERK. She placed hands on his chest and with every ounce of self-control, she pushed him back.

"How dare you..." She started but calmed down when Josh raised an eyebrow at her.

Composing herself again she started " You have not right to claim me!! Not after having someone else in your life... not after making her pregnant..." her eyes welled up with tears but Mila refused to cry in front of him.

Josh was silent because he believed what she is saying is true... or that's what she thinks is the truth. He can't spill about the baby not until he himself finds out about it. Well, he has his ideas on that.

Josh let out a heavy sigh and left.

Mila then let the tears flow... he just walked away. He just walked away. No explanation. Nothing. She was not wasting her tears on this s**t piece.

She was packing and just getting hell out of here... away from him.

Mila walked back into the house. Hayden was nowhere to be seen. She assumed he retired for the day. Just then the front door opened and her parents walked in.

"Sweety... where have you been?" Ella asked.

"Just running around the land."

"Oh... it's pretty good land. You could experience better early in the morning... then there are fewer wolves running around the perimeter." Andrew supplied and gave a warm smile before kissing Mila good night.

As soon as Mila reached her room, she locked the door and started packing. She was almost done when there was knock on the door followed by Zoey's whisper "Mila...are u awake?"

Mila quickly stuffed her suitcase and slid it under the bed. "I'm coming zo"

She opened the door and Zoey rushed in and crashed on the bed. Mila smiled at her sister and closed the door.

"What happened ?"

"I... I'm not sure" Zoey said in a small voice.

"Something to do with that cute mate of yours?" Mila teased a little.

Zoey groaned and said " He isn't cute!! I prefer the word Sexy."

Mila chuckled " He may be sexy for you... for me, he is like a brother now and sexy is not the word I want to use on someone who I think as a brother"

"We did things..." She said in a small voice, if not for her werewolf senses Mila couldn't have heard.

Mila raised an eyebrow at her sister while other one blushed beet red.

"Well... you are mates and you are an adult now. I think there must not be any problem."

"I hope so... I don't want to join the pack without you."

Mila sighed and laid down beside her sister "Zoe... your life shouldn't revolve around me, you should make your own decisions. It's your life zoe... I am sure your wolf is scratching you to join your mate's pack. On the other hand when it comes to me please don't make it difficult for me."

Zoey didn't say anything she would come around zoe.. give her time her wolf suggested.

"Well... I have a school thing coming also... I... I... just thought you would be helping me" Zoe after few minutes of silence.

Mila chuckled at her sister and said, "you just thought about that..."

"True.... but still this whole new school thing is bugging me"

"Chill zoe you will do just fine... don't worry "

"Why do you don't want to join the pack?"

Zoe asked debating whether to ask or not a hundred times.

Mila thought how to answer that question without giving out anything.

Mila didn't want to tell her about her mate. "I don't know... I...I... just want...." She started but saw zoe fast asleep.

She ran fingers through her sister's hair... Mila still remembers the day Zoey was born... She was so happy... She used to think she is her baby. Mila used to put up a fight with Ella in taking care of baby Zoe... the siblings were darn close. She kissed Zoey on her head and said " I'm sorry Zoe...I love you... hope you will forgive me."

Mila pulled her bag out as slowly as possible because she didn't want her sister to wake up. Though having wolf senses she was thanking the stars that Zoey was a heavy sleeper.

Mila's wolf was numb... She wants her mate but she knew he doesn't want her.

She threw her bag out of the window before listening if anyone was awake when she confirmed no one was awake she followed the path slowly.

She smirked when her feet touched the ground. She always believed she could snoop out easily until she heard

"What are you doing? "

Jessica stood there in her pj's and still looked beautiful or she thought. Well, Mila on a personal level didn't like Jessica because.....she has her reasons.

"Same goes to you back," she said calmly.

"I am a morning person... I like to sit in a quiet place and enjoy nature... Hayden won't let me go alone. So I am waiting for him to wake up" she said.

Mila took a deep breath and said "Well I am a doctor... I have important places to be..."

"You could have used the stairs.."

" Jumping from my window was easier and if you excuse me... I have places to be." Mila snapped rudely...She didn't want to... but she could stay here and chat with her.

"Have a good day..." Jessica said giving Mila small smile.

Now Mila felt really bad for snapping at her. She just nodded her head in her direction and was about to go, Splash showed up.

Mila couldn't curse her luck more... She raised her eyebrow at splash carefully changed her expression without giving him anything.

"You going somewhere. ..?" He asked.

Mila just shook her head.

"Hey, Splash.." She heard Jessica.

"Hello." he said to her with a small smile and turn towards Mila "We have some rouges in the pack house wanting to see you. They said they have some reports you want. Josh wanted you to come to the office."

Reports?! What reports... She thought. But didn't voice her thoughts. She nodded her head and said " I will be there in five"

After going back into her room Mila pushed her bag under the bed before rushing to the pack office.

Splash was still waiting for her in the front. She joined him as he walked beside her.

"how many are there?" Mila asked him in a small voice.

"Two... Ms.Jones," he said

"you can call me Mila," she said in a small voice. Her mind was revolving around two things one was she was going to see her mate after yesterday, and who the hell came to see her as long as she know REPORTS are with her..if the reports are what she thinks they are... and she was sure no other soul knows about that.

"Josh asked us to come to his office.. the rouges are waiting for you there." Splash said as soon as they entered pack house.

He knocked before entering. Mila took a deep breath before entering. Her nostrils filled with the woody scent of her mate and some other scents she knew.

Her eyes soon found her mate's. He was looking straight at her. She was immediately trapped in those eyes. Her mind raced back to the time when his lips met hers. Someone clearing their throat brought Mila back.

She turned and looked at the two guys who were guarded by two men behind them.

"Ash? Derrick? oh my God. " she said and went to hug them.

Ash and Derrick were her friends from back home.

A growl brought her hug to a immediate stop. She turned to look at her mate, her face fetching a clear frown.

"No touching. They are rouges and i don't trust them" was all he said.

"What are you guys doing here?" She asked.

"We came to give these." Ash said thrusting a file towards her.

She took the file from him and went through it.

"Where the hell did you get this from?" She asked.

Ash looked around and said, "can we do this more private." He said.

"No..." Josh snapped before Mila.

Mila shook her head at Josh and said, "It probably involves his pack so I see no harm in talking in front of him."

Ash looked at Derrick who nodded so he continued "Your mom... gave them and Suzi ran few tests and that is a final report and I think you know what to do to help them."

Mila remained quite for few seconds. She had everyone's attention "I will pass these to mom"

All this while Derrick remained sinfully calm. When Mila noticed that she looked at him.

Her eyes wide and her guard immediately up. She was afraid what he read. Derrick had weird power to read people. Read as in their exact thoughts.

"I know what you are thinking to do Mila .." he said speaking for the first time.

Josh was observing every change carefully and mention of his mates name got his wolf on the front. What is she upto! He thought.

"And that is a stupid idea... You know you can't run away. Now is not the right time."

Run away? Was his mate running away. Josh thought.

"But.. " his mate started but Derrick cut her off "Get this into your thick skull Mila... it is not safe for you out there"

Not safe? What the hell? Josh thought.
