New World's Master!

THE QUEST.

Sung had been meditating or cultivating for nearly three hours now. He slowly opened his eyes. He felt refreshed as well strong. The energy made all sense of humans little strong. Sung got up from his place and stretched his body a little...since he was sitting for a long time. He had never felt this lively after his elementary school.

It was as if he had been reborn. Just when he was drinking water he felt a presence outside his room. He flinched when he heard the door opening,so he took out the mithril piece which he used at first to hit the boss. He subconsciously brought that piece with him so he kept it under his pillow.

Slowly he went near the door. And stood near the knob sideways. Slowly holding the knob he tightened his grip around the mithril. When he thought he was ready he opened the at fast speed and swung the mithril piece towards the person near the door. **Clank** His hand was blocked by something....and when he looked who it was he heaved a sigh.

"Why are you here? And what's with this thief like behaviour?"he took off his hand from the person. "That was some dangerous thing to do...if it wasn't me and someone else the person would have died. Well i came here to inform you something."sei told him as she lowered her hand which had a arm guard.

"Come in."he told her. "Your roommate isn't here?"she asked him. "Nope..that dog must be wagging his tail around his master."he told her as he gave her a bottle of water to drink. He didn't have much things in his fridge. And if there were, those things were which minsuk brought with his master's money. "So what did you want to tell me?"he asked as he sat beside her.

"I have asked for ruin through ruins law office. They were concerned about the thing that i was taking two non-raiders with me. So they gave me only one rank up'd ruin. It's a D-rank ruin. So it won't have much strong monster since you want to have shadows. "she told him.

"It's fine. There's no way that with my current strength i can beat higher level monsters. So I'll just kill some which i have confidence in."he told her. "Hm...then it's fine."she wanted to confirm if he was okay with a lower ranked ruin. There was a awkward atmosphere now that there was nothing else to talk about. And when she wanted to say something,...she sensed something approaching them.

"DODGE!!!"she tackled sung on the bed and landed on him. A arrow went straight and hit the wall. If sung hadn't been tackled by sei then the arrow would have been in sungs head instead of the wall.

"Whoa....that was dangerous!"he saw how the arrow had stuck on the wall. When he looked at sei she was completely red from what she did. "Thanks for that but are you okay?"he checked her temperature by putting his hand in her forehead. "Waaah!!!!"she sat on her place immediately. Sung was confused why she behaved that way.

"He might be still here."sung immediately checked the window from which the arrow was shoot.There was a shadow but it disappeared as soon as sung appeared near the window to see who it was. Sung was able to hear just two words. "Mission failed." And the person disappeared as if he wasn't there.

"What was that?"sei had calmed down. She took out the arrow. "Must be that bastard...kangsu. Looks like it was a mission to kill me...and he would have succeeded if you weren't here. Thanks."he thanked sei. "Seems like he holds a huge grudge against you!"the arrow was shot at such a speed to even pierce a wall. "Yeah...."sung was a little worried. The person who shot the arrow must have been strong. So it only meant two things....either kangsu was enough strong to have such high dogs or he paid for sung to get killed.

"You should probably look out for yourself. Since your roommate is one of them too."sei was now worried. "He won't be a problem for me. The one who is..... it's kangsu. I should settle everything with him soon."he had decided that he would take down kangsu but how?If he wanted to do it...he had to get strong. Sei left after telling sung to take care. He was thinking what to do when he received a notification from the system.

"Perfect! If i can kill these bunch and others as well...then there's no need for me to worry for tomorrow. I can have a go at kobolts as well since there would be some in tomorrow's ruin!"Sung didn't wanted to loose any chance of getting stronger. "Then lets get going."he took out a black clothe from his cupboard and covered his mouth and wore a black cap revealing only his eyes now. He took the arrow and the mithril piece with him.

Since it would have been suspicious if he left through the corridor and infront of all Students so he went from the back window. He jumped down from second floor and landed slowly on the ground. He was informed by the system where the ruin c***k was. So he ran towards the place. Just in three minutes he had reached the place.

It was 11:00 pm at night so not many people were around. Also the people who were had run to different places and some had called the ruins law. But he didn't have time to spend. He ran straight to the goblin who was about to kill a normal person. He reached the goblin and pierced it's head with the arrow in his hand. "KIIIIIK!!!!"the goblin around him let out a loud war cry. "Are you okay?"sung asked the lady who was about to get killed.

*"GOBLINS KILLED - 1/20 KOBOLTS KILLED - 0/10 GOBLIN BOSS KILLED - 0/1"*

He saw the system notification. "Thank you....**SOB SOB**"she was scared. Sung lifted her up and left her to a safe place. And returned to goblins. They had already formed groups of themselves. There were even goblins with daggers or arrows and bows. Archer goblins and the one who used daggers.....or assassins. And at the back were two shamans...or goblin mages. Two shaman, seven archers and ten Assassin's.

"Come!"sung stood there to check what they would do. Soon two archers shot there arrows towards him. The speed wasn't much so sung deflected them with the mithril piece. And just after the arrows were shot two goblins ran to him and kept swinging there daggers at him. Sung back flipped and threw the mithril piece at one of the goblin.

"Hiiiiiikkiiiik!!!"the goblin screamed in pain when it's chest had a huge hole. The goblin beside it was distracted so taking the chance sung reached the goblin and crushed it under his feet. It took only 10 seconds for the goblin to die from the pressure.

The count went to three for goblins. Sung took the two daggers. They were made out of normal stone and a normal steel each. But that was more than enough. "Use DAGGER SWING" just when he muttered those words he felt some information entering his mind. And seconds later he knew how to use the daggers. "Hahaha!!!!This skill is amazing!!!"he didn't knew a single technique to use a weapon and now he was a master at using a dagger!!

He appeared behind the archers...and sliced heads of three goblins. The goblins started to attack him randomly....they seemed to be scared. "Haaa..same as previous world....the government officials never reach the places of issues early!"it had been over ten minutes and there wasn't anyone from the R-Law. He pierced the last goblin in it's head.

The number reached 30 for goblins since there were some goblins hidden. "Now....next!!"just when he said this kobolts around 18-20 spawned from the ground. "Looks like you guys are strong!"he saw the kobolts. They had a strong built than goblins and there were swords in there hands. Longs ones which needed to be used by two hands. And the materials looked strong than the daggers.

A kobolt ran towards sung and swing his sword. Sung stopped the sword using the two daggers. And then he kicked the creature in it's stomach. The kobolt landed a few meters away. Sung followed the white line and sliced two kobolts. And took a sword from one of the corpse. It was small so he needed only one hand to use it. "Use DAGGER SWING"sung used the skill again. He got 10% of knowledge about sword. There were three kobolts inront of him....a holographic image of him was infront of him which ran towards the kobolts and did a side flip and slice the three at the heads.

Sung followed and three kobolts died in a single attack. "Huff...huff"sung was out of breathe. He killed the remaining 15 or so of them in ten minutes. Fast for a e-rank raider but quite slow...since he was aiming to become strong.

Just when he stopped to take a breather,...he heard a notification and a roar.
