“So, what do you want to get if you will get a good grade this third quarter?” I asked my younger siblings, Shiela and Thomas. At the moment, the three of us were on our way to their school. Since I don’t have a duty yesterday, I woke up early and decided that I’ll be the one to send my siblings to school.
“Amy…” with a concerned tone Shiela responded.
I faced her and gave a quick smile. I replied, “Shie, it’s fine. Also, what’s wrong with treating my younger siblings to have what they want especially if they performed well on academics?”
“But, Amy, I know you have a lot of financial burdens already,” Shiela said. “I and Thomas didn’t want to be selfish by giving you another set of burdens to carry.”
