I was suddenly hungry in a way I had never felt before. Fire was rolling through my lupine body and I was trembling with desire and anticipation. There was only one thing to explain this- MATE I heard from a voice entirely new to me. It wasn’t Orion’s wolf so that meant- Hello? Are you my wolf? But just as suddenly, she was silent again. This momentous moment could not distract from the desire and anticipation coursing through my entire body so acute it was nearly pain. I stood frozen in the dusky clearing waiting for my pursuer.
